HomeServicesCost ("we," "us," or "the site") is operated by Zoom Lifestyle LLC. This privacy policy explains what information we collect from visitors and how we use it.
Geographic scope
HomeServicesCost serves visitors from the United States only. Our cost data, calculators, and contractor network references are US-specific. We do not target users in other countries.
Information we collect directly
We do not collect any personal information directly. The site has no signup form, no email capture, no quote request form, and no contact form. The only way to reach us is by sending an email to contact@homeservicescost.com — in which case we receive your email address and message content, used only to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
Like virtually all websites, we use third-party analytics and advertising services that automatically collect anonymized technical data about your visit:
- Google Analytics — collects anonymized visit data (pages viewed, time on site, approximate location at city level, browser type, device type). Used to understand which pages are useful and which need improvement. Google's privacy policy.
- Google AdSense — displays advertisements. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google's Ad Settings page.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session recording and heatmaps for UX research. No personally identifying information is captured. Clarity's privacy terms.
Cookies
The third-party services listed above set cookies on your browser. We do not set first-party cookies for tracking purposes. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the site will work normally without them.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links to contractor networks (Angi, HomeAdvisor, Networx, Modernize, etc.). If you click an affiliate link and request a quote, the receiving network may set cookies and collect information per their own privacy policies. We earn a small commission if you complete a quote request — this does not increase the cost to you and does not influence the cost data shown on the site.
California residents — your CCPA rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding personal information collected about you:
- Right to know what personal information we collect (answer: anonymized analytics only — see above)
- Right to delete any personal information we have (email us — we have no database to delete from)
- Right to opt out of "sale" of personal information — we do not sell personal information. To opt out of personalized advertising from Google AdSense, visit Google Ad Settings
- Right to non-discrimination — exercising these rights does not affect your use of the site

HomeServicesCost is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "effective date" at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
